These itty bitty wild strawberries are the cutest little berries ever. We found these at the boathouse on the way to the cottage for Canada Day and sadly only found eight of them. They were packed with flavour and tastier than any other strawberry I have had lately. I only wish I could have found more and sprinkled them over some pancakes or french toast.

 This my friends is Slush.

A delicious frosty bevie that is essential in the summertime. It makes oodles and is stored in a bucket or a large tupperware in your freezer and whenever you desire a glass or two you simply scoop some out and top it up with Sprite or 7-UP.

Trust me that once you make this you will be hooked! In my opinion it is absolutely essential that it be made with Black Cherry Vodka.

Slush

7 c. water

1 c. sugar

2 c. water

2 tea bags ( I prefer raspberry)

1 each of frozen oj, limeade and pink lemonade

1 26 oz. bottle of Black Cheery Vodka

In a large pot combine the 7 c. of water & sugar. Boil for approx. 1 min & set aside.

In a kettle boil 2 c. of water and pour over tea bags, steep for 20 min. Remove tea bags & pour into pot.

Stir in all of the concentrates till combined. Pour in vodka & allow mixture to come to room temp.

Pour into a large container and put in freezer. It won’t freeze completely due to the alchol but rather should become slushy – thus becoming SLUSH.

Scoop into glasses till 1/2 to 3/4 full (depending on your taste) and top with soda.

Kick back, close your eyes, drink and enjoy !!!
